Dudumbhi tries to burn Sati's pinds but Lord Shiva appears on Rishi Dadhichi's prayer and beats all the demons in Kalbhairav's from. Lord Shiva and Rishi Dadhichi construct Sati's pinds as Shaktipeethas and Lord Shiva appoints Kalbhiarav as a guard for the Shaktipeethas. Tarakasur goes to fight with Lord Shiva without caring for Shukracharya's warning. Tarakasur threatens and asks the earth to cover Sati's pinds.
